The Response Sheets for CAT 2023 has been out since 5 December 2023. Candidates can view and download them from the CAT website ( IIM CAT) – This link will be open till the 8th of December, 2023. During this window, any objections that candidates have about their response sheets can also be officially raised.

Steps to view and download the CAT 2023 Response sheet:

1. Visit the official CAT website ( IIM CAT).

2. Click the Registered Candidate Login button and enter your User ID and Password followed by the Captcha to proceed.

3. Click on the Candidate Response, tab. Click here in Please click here to download your question paper for CAT 2023 and this will show the response sheet in an html format.

Candidates can save their response sheets in the html format through Ctrl + S or can download the sheet in a pdf format by clicking the Print button in the top right corner.

Analyzing the response sheet:

The CAT response sheet will have all questions from respective slots with the options, the correct answers and the marked answers in the format provided in the image below.

For MCQ questions, all the options will be provided below each question and the correct option will appear in green along with a green tick on the left. All the other options will be red in color along with a red cross on the left.

For Non-MCQ questions, the Possible Answer (possible correct answer) will be displayed in green and the Given Answer (candidate’s answer) will be displayed below it.

Calculating the Raw score:

The Raw score can be calculated based on the following marking scheme:

MCQ questions: +3 for every Correct answer, -1 for every Wrong answer, 0 for every Unanswered question.

Non-MCQ questions: +3 for every Correct answer, 0 for every Wrong answer, 0 for every Unanswered question.

Raw scores are not directly considered for the final percentile calculation; it will be subjected to normalization by IIM Lucknow for the final percentile calculation.

Candidates can use this percentile projector tool to calculate their possible percentiles using the raw scores. (Note: these predictions might vary from the actual percentile once scorecards are out).
