Key changes in XAT 2025:

The XAT administration has made a few key changes for XAT 2025’s exam format.

The exam will be divided into two parts, with Part One lasting 170 minutes and Part Two, which will be the General Knowledge section, running for 10 minutes, and in total, the exam will last for 180 minutes – 3 hours.

Additionally, the Analytical Essay Writing (AEW) component has been restructured and will now be conducted during the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) stages, rather than being part of the main XAT 2025 exam.

There has also been a revision in the General Knowledge section. It will now consist of 20 questions, reduced from the previous 25, with 12 questions focused on current affairs and 8 on static general knowledge.
